Capt. Matthew C. Mattingly
Army Capt. Matthew C. Mattingly 30, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio was assigned to 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C. He died Sept. 13 2006 when he encountered enemy forces using small-arms fire during combat operations in Mosul, Iraq.
