Navy Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Danny P. Dietz

Navy Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class (SEAL) Danny P. Dietz 25, of Littleton, Colo. was assigned to SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team 2, Virginia Beach, Va. He was killed June 28, 2005 while conducting counter-terrorism operations in Kunar province, Afghanistan.

Cindy Dietz, mother of Danny Dietz, came to the Nielsen's home. Here she is holding the quilt Freedom Quilts made in honor of her son.

Cindy came to the Nielsen's home to receive her quilt and also to help make her daughter-in-laws quilt Maria Dietz. The event took place in Varina. Here are links to the event
