Spec. Norman L. Cain III Hometown: Oregon, Illinois, U.S. Age: 22 years old Died: March 15, 2009 in Operation Enduring Freedom. Unit: Army, 1st Battalion, 178th Infantry Regiment, 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Woodstock, Ill. He died as a result of injuries sustained in Kot, Afghanistan, when a makeshift bomb detonated near his vehicle.
