Freedom Quilt Raffle 2010 quilt pictures

I am currently quilting this quilt. When I'm finished I'll post more pictures

My Dear Friends,

Here we are in 2010 making new resolutions and hoping for bright days in the weeks and months to come. Throughout this New Year, my hopes and dreams are still to reach out and comfort mourning families, to continue making quilts for these families, and to hope that every one of these family members will know that we, their fellow countrymen, hold them dear to our hearts. We have not forgotten their pain. My hope for the New Year is that you will choose to walk with me in this journey of love and comfort, for I cannot do it alone. Your contribution kept us going in 2009 so we could continue our mission. Thanks to your support and belief in Freedom Quilts we were able to give a total of 427 quilts to families last year, making the total of 6,678 quilts to date given out through the years. As you may know, this project is run completely through our volunteers' hard work and dedication. This means that all donations go directly to supplies, shipping quilts, equipment, and expense to keep the project alive. We have been going strong for eight years now, but I need support to keep our mission alive. For this year's annual fundraiser, Freedom Quilts will be raffling a Quilt Made with Love. Check out our website www.freedomquilts.net for a picture of the 2010 raffle quilt. You can help Freedom Quilts by entering into the quilt raffle with a donation of $25.00. Your name then will be placed in the quilt raffle. We will draw the winning name on July 4th 2010. You can also give any amount as a donation to keep this project going. I hope that you will choose to support us this year. Last year the quilt raffle was a great success. Funds raised were just enough to cover the cost of quilting supplies through 2009. Freedom Quilts supporter, Lenora Babb from Bella Vista, AR won the quilt. Day after day, we receive quilt requests from families in pain. Through your donations you have given hope to people all over the world who have mourned the loss of a loved one. Together, we have shown these families that we do care. Please join us whether through the raffle or just by giving a donation and help to bring love and comfort to family in need.
